What Is Rand The Unmanned
Rand The Unmanned Instagram Bot is a group effort Selenium bot created by students at Gwynned Mercy University. Its purpose is to teach basic python, web scraping, and HTML.
HOW RAND WORKS:
Every 20 minutes Rand will generate a random word, this word will be used as an Instagram hashtag. Rand then searches for that hashtag and chooses the top 9 posts in that hashtag category. Once that list is generated Rand likes and then shares the top 9 posts to twitter. The live Twitter feed can be found on the homepage of this site.
